ECLC and the Pandemic

Due to the worldwide outbreak of SARS-Cov-2 in early 2020 the European partner universities have not been able to send their students to Peking University since the summer/spring term 2020. Instead the ECLC office has arranged for online classes, which are taught by the staff in Beijing to students in Germany, Denmark and Norway. While online exercises and classes cannot fully make up for the study experience in China, students may thereby graduate in time and with a good command of Chinese.
As soon as the conditions again allow for a stay of European students in Beijing the ECLC will resume face-to-face teaching on the PKU campus.
