All partner institutions of the European Chinese Language and Culture Programme at Peking University welcome the newest member, Aarhus University and its Asian Studies Programme. The Programme section now features a new sub-section, called Essays. Developing the students' skills in written Chinese is one of the main aims of the ECLC-programme, helping them to greatly advance their skills during the short time of only one semester. The site has been updated with new information on teachers and staff working at the ECLC, including profiles of the ECLC's core staff and teachers. The ECLC-bureau is staffed with two people, with the Programme Director staying in Beijing throughout the year, and the Managing Director being dispatched by Würzburg and Wien during the summer and winter term.
